Sönke Ahrens describes himself as a social scientist and systemic consultant. He wrote “Experiment und Exploration” and “Das Zettelkasten-Prinzip”, published in English as “How to Take Smart Notes”.

He also runs a course on building a digital Zettelkasten in Obsidian.
